PETROGLYPH TRAIL

The Gabriola Land and Trails Trust (GaLTT) is building more trails this year. The current project is Petroglyph Trail Community Park, running from Petroglyph Way at Crocker Road through to near the United Church.

Enjoy the fruits of their labours and the beauty of the Petroglyph Trail Community Park. You can find the park by turning west on Dorby Way, off  Petersen Rd, then south on Crocker Rd to Petroglyph Way. The trailhead is almost across from the Crocker intersection.

Trail building continues: Junior Trail Builders Reece Maddison and Samantha Prior
and other GaLTT volunteers building Petroglyph trail, January 2006

All are welcome to come and help build trials. It's a great outdoor experience. The exercise level is about the same as gardening. There are tools on site, but bring your own preferred rake, shovel, pick, shears or wheelbarrow if you have them. Note, the project work is not at the United Church end of the trail for now.

Watch for announcements and email to members for subsequent work party days. Volunteers can fit in an hour or two through the day and make a big difference. GaLTT contact person for this project is:
