You can most easily show your support for GaLTT's goals by becoming a member of the Society. Your membership fee will be put to good use in preserving public lands and trail access. GaLTT is a registered charitable society and issues tax receipts for any donation $20 and over, including membership fees.
Members receive personal email notification of our activities if they wish, and may attend our monthly board meetings (usually every second Tuesday in the month at the Women's Institute Hall, at 7.30pm). They can also vote at our AGM.

Volunteering
There are many ways to volunteer for GaLTT. You can:
Help to develop and maintain trails, and to remove invasive plants from public areas. To join our work parties contact Randy Young by email.
Remove invasive plants from your own property.
Help manage the GaLTT information table one Saturday morning (10am to noon) at Gabriola's summer Farmers' Market at AGI Hall. It is held throughout the summer until Thanksgiving weekend. To do this contact Carol Hemrich by email or phone her at 250-325-0250.
Canvas new members, spreading the word about what we do.
Fund-raise—whether it's five dollars or five thousand, all our donations are put to good use, and we are a registered Society, so the donor gets a charitable tax-relief receipt.
Share your expertise about Gabriola's natural environment by offering workshops or writing articles for our brochures, newsletter, or website.
